In brief
In life, Maxime has two loves : drawing and eating. As a baby, he opened his mouth widely to swallow the attractive Burgundian dishes prepared by his parents, and wielded dexterously HB pencils and felt-tips.
Years passed by, Maxime grew up, kept eating all the same and improved his drawing skills. Adult, he left his mother’s stove for a cramped student residence in the heart of Paris with a kettle & a hot plate for sole kitchenware. He followed there multimedia graphic studies at the Ecole Estienne, then at the Gobelins.
Once graduated, he found himself ready to brave Big Ben and the (in)famous English food. But the french guy always kept a camembert on the side (one never knows what could strike at tea time…). He worked a few years at the Peter Anderson Studio, where he designed and animated websites, title sequences and various identities…
Now back in France with his luggages full of pies, bagels and vinegar crisps (to be honest, the English has some good delicacies as well!), Maxime is now freelancing, and still continues to work with the foggy country now and then. Every time, he tries mixing the different graphic ingredients (whether it’s print, web, illustration, interactive or motion design) to discover new flavours.
À table !
